The dress code for our wedding is formal. Ladies should wear a full-length or cocktail dress with comfortable heels or flats, as some of the event will take place outside. Gentlemen should wear a suit and dress shirt, tie optional. Please no jeans, polos, khakis, or sneakers. See the Outfit Inspo tab for some ideas!
Guests will meet at the Forest House Lodge to enjoy pre-ceremony cocktail hour and receive directions to our off-site ceremony. After the ceremony, guests will be directed back to the Lodge for the reception and will remain here for the rest of the celebration!
Guests must meet at the Lodge by 3:30 at the latest and may not arrive directly to the ceremony site. There is no address for the ceremony site and it is difficult to navigate without directions provided by staff. If you arrive later than 3:30 and miss the guest departure to the ceremony site, please remain at the Lodge until guests return for post-ceremony cocktail hour to avoid disrupting the ceremony.
No, guests will drive themselves to the site. The drive is only 1 mile and we encourage carpooling, however, there is plenty of parking at the ceremony site.
While we adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making child care arrangements ahead of time so that you can celebrate with us!
If you have received a plus one, it will be explicitly noted on your wedding invitation. Due to limited venue space, we can only accommodate the guests formally invited on your invitation.
While the DJ and dancing in the reception hall will conclude around 10-11pm, our venue allows for guests to stay as late as they'd like! There is a downstairs afterparty area with games, gambling, and karaoke that will remain open all night. Late-night appetizers will be served between 10pm and 12am and the bar will remain open until 2am, but beer and wine will be available after bar closure.
Please RSVP no later than April 26th, 2025 so we can ensure adequate seating and food for all guests!
