When should I RSVP by?

What happens if it rains?

In the event of unpleasant weather, we will be letting everyone know via text message/phone call that the ceremony is relocating to the Wallaceton Ruritan Club, Gertie School at 4028 Bunch Walnuts Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony starts to be seated and comfortable!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

This will be a cocktail attire wedding celebration! To keep the ambiance elegant, we kindly request that guests avoid wearing jeans. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!

Can I bring a date?

We appreciate your understanding that, in order to stay within budget, we have a very strict guest list and can only accommodate those specifically named on the invitation. Please remember that this is a strictly RSVP event. Thank you for your support!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an young adults/adults-only event (18+ unless otherwise specified) so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I take pictures at your ceremony/reception and post them?

Answer

We kindly request that you hold off on posting any wedding photos until the bride and groom have shared theirs—thank you for your understanding! For the ceremony, we ask that you please silence your phones and refrain from taking pictures, as we’ll be having an unplugged ceremony. We’ve hired a fantastic photographer who will beautifully capture these special moments. However, feel free to take photos during the reception! Thank you for being part of our celebration!
