Where does the reception and ceremony take place?

Answer

Ceremony is at Stella Maris Parish in Egg Harbor- 7710 WIS-42 Egg Harbor, WI 54209 Start time- 1:00pm Reception is at Gordon Lodge- 1420 Pine Dr, Baileys Harbor, WI 54202 Start time- 4:30pm

How can I RSVP to the wedding?

Answer

You can RSVP by using our wedding website! Link will be released when invites are sent out around April 1st, 2023. RSVP are due by July 1st, 2023.

What do I do if I can NOT make it?

Answer

If you are unable to attend, please RSVP that you can not make it so we can keep track of attendance of our special day.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If your invitation allows for it, please feel free to bring a guest. If not, please bring yourself to celebrate.

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named.

What is "Cocktail Attire"

Answer

We are asking our guests to follow cocktail attire guidelines. Ladies: summer/cocktail dresses and or dressy jumpsuits/pants Gentlemen: button downs, ties, slacks and sport coat/jacket optional

What time do I arrive?

Answer

We are asking our guest to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony starts to make sure everyone has enough time to mingle and find a seat before the ceremony.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony at Stella Maris, there will be time between that and the cocktail hour at Gordon Lodge. Guest are free to do as they please, until arriving at cocktail hour located at Gordon Lodge at 4:30pm. I have added places to visit under the "Must Do Door County" tab.

Where can I park?

Answer

Parking is free and located at Gordon Lodge outside of the venue. There will be signs pointing you in the right direction once you arrive on campus. Golf carts will be driving around day of for guest convenience.

Is there open bar?

Answer

Of course. Is that even a question? A selection of beer, wine and mixers will be provided.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

During cocktail hour, assorted appetizers and drinks will be served at the outside bar before the reception. Menu choices need to be made ahead of time when you RSVP for sit down dinner. Open bar will continue throughout the night, and after party snacks will be served around 9:30pm.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

RSVP deadline in July 1st, 2023. Please RSVP on our website- also including your meal preference from the selection provided. Invites will be sent out around April 1st, 2023.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

We do have multiple blocks of hotels rooms located at Gordon Lodge, and a few hotels around the area- no more than 10 minutes from the venue. Please find those under the "Travel and Hotel" tab on the website.

Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Answer

Oh, it would not be a party weekend without multiple events to celebrate our wedding. The kick off event starts on Friday night at Stabbur Beer Garden at Al Johnson's- located in Sister bay. After the ceremony and reception, we will be ending the night at Husby's Food & Spirits. Transportation will not be provided for these events- but are only 10 minutes from the Gordon Lodge.

Do you have a wedding registry? Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding reception in attendance is enough! But if you are inclined to get us a gift, we are registered at Target, Amazon and Home Depot. We also have our cash funds listed under the registry tab- this will be released when our shower invites go out later this year. If you do bring a gift to the shower or ceremony, there will be a table for you to drop them off as you walk in before you start to mingle.

When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

The reception will conclude at 11:00pm on the dot. For the guest that wish to continue the celebration, the party will be moved to Husby's bar in Sister Bay. That ending time, is to be determined. Find this information under the "Game Plan" tab on the website.
