Rocky Mountain National Park
Located approximately two hours from Breckinridge, the Rocky Mountain National Park has a variety of trails to explore the mountains. Nicole and Austin recommend Bear Lake Corridor. It was at Bear Lake that the couple first talked about having a Colorado wedding!
White Water Rafting with Performance Tours Rafting
Austin and I went white water rafting with this company and had a great time! It’s about an hour and a half away from Breckenridge but its a beautiful drive. They have multiple tour options and I think they have tours closer to Breckenridge.
Hike to the Breckenridge Troll
The Breckenridge Troll (formally called Iska Heartstone) is located along the Trollstigen Trail next to the Illinois Gulch. The AllTrails app classifies this hike as “easy” and “kid friendly”.
Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve
The National Park is 3 hours South of Breckinridge and has trails and dunes to explore! You can even rent sleds and boards and go Sand Sledding or Sandboarding!
