FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP through our website or evite by October 2nd, 2025 so we can finalize guest counts and details. We won’t be able to accommodate changes after this date.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation included a guest, you’ll see their name listed when you RSVP. Otherwise, we kindly ask that you come solo. We want our wedding to be an intimate celebration with the people we know well and who have been part of our journey together, and who are close to us personally.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We LOVE your little ones 💛 but our wedding will be a very small celebration with only 50 guests. For that reason, we’re only able to include our own children in the day. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep this intimate.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask that you arrive between 3:30-3:50 PM to ensure you’re seated before we begin.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’re calling it cocktail attire, aka “look sharp, but don’t stress.” Dresses, jumpsuits, or skirts for the ladies, and suits or dress shirts with a jacket for the guys (ties optional, dancing shoes highly encouraged).

Question

Do you have a color theme?

Answer

We don’t have a bridal party, but we’d love for everyone to lean into cozy fall neutrals. Think browns, taupes, creams, and ivory. Picture earthy, candlelit, autumn vibes (not neon nightclub vibes 😉). You don’t have to match perfectly, but outfits in this palette will look amazing together in photos!

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Instead of a traditional registry, we’ve created a honeymoon fund. If you’d like to contribute to our first adventure as newlyweds, you can find the link under the *Registry* tab on this site. Your love, prayers, and presence mean the world to us, and that’s truly the greatest gift.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! For guests who’d like to stay downtown Norfolk, here are a few great options: • Hilton Norfolk The Main – Modern, upscale hotel with restaurants, a rooftop bar, and beautiful river views. • Norfolk Waterside Marriott – Comfortable and reliable, right in the heart of downtown by the waterfront. • Four Eleven York – A charming boutique inn in the historic Freemason neighborhood, perfect for a more intimate stay.

Question

Do I need to bring formal invitation?

Answer

Nope! We decided not to send formal paper invitations. You’ve already received our save-the-date, and all the details you’ll need are right here on our wedding website. 💌
