Our story began on a whirlwind of a day in August 2012. Austin was a junior at River Ridge High School when a new girl was finding her way down the halls. Ericka was starting her freshman year right out of Cherokee Christian School, a little private school just down the street. Ericka was exploring these new halls with two other young girls, Emily Wilcox and McCall Mitchell, Austin's friend and younger sister. It was during this rush to familiarise themselves with the school that Austin and Ericka met. It only took one look to make their hearts flutter. From there it was family get togethers, football games, and a trip to Helen, Georgia that only made their feelings grow stronger. The two of them became official on September 14, 2012 at the homecoming dance. A night full of laughs, awkward dancing, and a kiss under the lights of the dancefloor. These high school sweethearts have been madly in love ever since. Since Austin proposed to Ericka on top of Macomb Plateau, Alaska, the two have been so excited for a lifetime's worth of adventures together. We are so excited to be celebrating the union, the love, and the compassion of these two after eight years of devotion.
