Our first date was at Utepils Brewing in Golden Valley, where we spent the night laughing, trading stories, and realizing pretty quickly that this might be something worth exploring. Before the date even ended, we were already planning our next adventure: smoothies and a trip to the Bakken Museum (because of course two engineers would think that’s fun). What we didn’t expect was for that second date to turn into a six-hour marathon. After the museum, we walked over to Lake Bde Maka Ska and just… kept talking—about family, dreams, gardening, and whatever else came up. Somewhere between smoothies, museum wandering, and losing track of time on that walk, we realized that if we could accidentally lose track of time in each other’s company, we were probably stumbling into something pretty special.
