It all started back in high school, where we first crossed paths through an academic program called Project SCOPE. Though we didn’t know it then, that small connection would one day grow into something life-changing. Years later, fate stepped in—this time in the form of a DM. Josh messaged Mikayla, and what began as a simple conversation quickly turned into something special. Our first date was at PRIME Sports Bar, where we ended up talking for hours like we were best friends. From that moment on, we were inseparable. We shared countless dates and adventures, and eventually took our first international trip together—to Mexico, which was Josh’s first time out of the country. That sparked a love for travel we now share deeply, taking us to Jamaica, New Orleans, LA, Detroit, Colombia, and most memorably, to Spain. In Barcelona, beneath the Spanish sky, Josh got down on one knee and asked the easiest question Mikayla’s ever answered. Now, we’re building a life filled with love, laughter, travel, and our favorite boy—our sweet pup, Chase. We can’t wait to begin this next chapter together, and we’re so excited to celebrate with you.
