We love you and your kids. While this would be a great opportunity to get a night away, all kids are welcome at our ceremony and reception.
Since the majority of hotels in the area are small, hotel blocks are not available. However, we have included many different hotel options on our travel tips page to help you find the one that best fits your needs.
We have accounted for everyone to bring one guest. However, please ensure that if you are bringing a guest you must RSVP stating that you are bringing a guest. If you bring a guest and did not RSVP for them, there will not be a spot available for them.
Guests may arrive at 4:00pm at the earliest, but please do not arrive later than 4:25pm sharp for the ceremony.
Yes, while there are no obligations for you to give anything, if you feel inclined to give, please look under the registry tab on our website for more information.
Yes! We want you to have a fun and enjoyable night of celebrating. The Ceremony will be outdoors underneath the beautiful willow tree on the property. The Cocktail hour will be held on the patio space outside the venue. The Reception and dinner will be held inside the venue. Signage will be posted to provide assistance on where to go.
We ask that you do dress up and look nice for the event and wear cocktail attire. What is cocktail attire? It is more fancy than semi-formal, but not to the level of black-tie formal. For women, wear cocktail dresses, LBDs, or a dressy jumpsuit. For men, a suit and tie is preferred, however, the jacket is optional.
The ceremony will take place in a grassy area. Please keep this in mind when choosing your footwear for the evening. The Reception will take place indoors so you shouldn't have any issues.
We ask that you avoid colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride. That includes whites, ivories, and creams.
The Ceremony will begin at 4:30pm sharp. The Cocktail Hour will begin immediately after the ceremony, drinks will begin being served at 5:00pm. The Reception/Dinner will begin at 6:00pm.
There is a large parking lot located at Koru Berry Farm that will accommodate all guests standard size vehicles. There will be no transportation provided so please plan ahead to find a ride.
We are having an “unplugged” ceremony. This means that we kindly ask that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we have hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments and we hate to have a well-meaning person’s phone/device blocking that moment for her to capture. After the ceremony feel free to take as many photos as you’d like!
The Cocktail Hour will only have drinks served, a selection of soda, beer, wine and some select cocktails will be available. During the Reception: the same drink options will still be served and we will be serving a variety of wood-fired pizza, served buffet style. If you have any dietary restrictions, please be sure to note those when you RSVP so we can do everything we can to accomodate you.
Leave the cash at home, the drinks will be on us tonight. You will be able to choose between soda, water, as well as select beer, wine, and cocktails.
