Maid of Honor
(Older) Younger sister, childhood-game partner, and Brittany-swim-club-dynasty successor. We've always been loyal allies (including a "shared" closet), and she is a never-ending source of good laughs and cries. My only hope of staying up-to-date with current trends.
Best Man
NCAA05 arch-nemesis, former bunk-bed counterpart, and present-day golf partner...and most importantly, my older brother. He's seen just about all 25 years of my life, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Maid of Honor
(Younger) younger sister, big-time cheerleader, mysterious goofball. She is the only peacemaker in a family of alphas (thank God). Any artistic touch of the wedding can probably be attributed to her.
Groomsman
Soon-to-be brother-in-law, Yellowstone tent-mate, and newly minted fly-fisherman. He encapsulates all the good qualities of a Granelli, in guy-form. He even let me sit in his seat at the Granelli dinner table a few times.
Bridesmaid
Soon-to-be sister-in-law, cocktail-maker, and hobby collector. She welcomed me with open arms and then quickly put the best Austin, TX food options in those arms. Many more pickle ball games with her to come.
Groomsman
Middle school soccer teammate and one of my best friends ever since. In high school, he got me through Spanish and I got him through English (what friendship!). We've amassed way too many funny memories together over the years.
Bridesmaid
Workout buddy and sourdough mentor. She was my FOCUS teammate this past year and held most of my emotional sanity in her hands. I enjoyed becoming OU Women's Basketball's #1 and #2 fans with her.
Groomsman
A man I met almost immediately after moving to Boston - which I'm eternally grateful for. We are both survivors of the FOCUS dating fast, but our bond goes far deeper than that; it's no coincidence our friendship struck when it did.
Bridesmaid
The best discipler and my biggest "yes" woman. Lost count of how many times we hit the 9pm-Mass/Cafe-Intermezzo-Cake combination. Recruited me into ADPi and a Peru mission trip all in one.
Groomsman
My former missionary/bible study leader and now a lifelong friend (and jokester). I once ripped my pants chasing him in a game of cops and robbers. Always down to "mess up" and eat a seventh Slim Jim at approximately 1:30am.
Bridesmaid
Can anyone make me laugh harder than this woman? We became fast friends my sophomore year at Tech through many late nights writing lab reports and laughing because we were so delirious. She is the best story teller and I got to witness many of those stories studying abroad with her!
Groomsman
Epitome of a "day one" and the first friend I can ever truly remember making (on the second day of Kindergarten). He can probably name more of my crushes than anybody else. Two decades later, that list finally comes to an end.
Bridesmaid
The tallest of my tall friends, the best host, and one of my disciples at OU turned into a lifelong friend! We bonded over our mutual affection of Levity (breakfast house in Norman) and leading bible study with greek gals. Any banner you see associated with the Wedding will probably be attributed to her.
Groomsman
The roommate I never knew I needed. Patty and I lived together for two years after college; for that first year, we had coffee together every single morning. Fun fact: 90% of water cups in the house ended up in his room.
Bridesmaid
Responsible for 90% of the coffee made in my house last year. She is a loyal friend, a just-dance lover, and a prayer warrior. She was my teammate for the past 2 years at OU and I am beyond grateful! I can always count on her for a good chat.
Groomsman
A life-changing college friend. He kindly invited me to a Ben Rector concert at the end of my sophomore year, and it sparked a friendship for the ages. We have a mean dap-hug combination that can truly cure the soul.
Bridesmaid
The only person who has the exact same living style as me... good thing we were freshman roommates! She is the best hype woman and justice seeker. She is always down for an adventure including hanging out in Norman for a whole day by herself before I got engaged!
Groomsman
The man who I owe most of musical journey to. We became friends and started "Still Morning" together; if you find someone in your life who shares a love of both music and fishing, I recommend you keep them around.
Bridesmaid
Roommate of 2.5 years, the best listener and advice giver. She has an insane ability to make you feel known and loved. Hands down one of the best days of my life thus far (sorry I think the wedding day will take the cake) has been surfing with her at sunset at Chun's in Hawaii! Always joyful with this one!
Groomsman
Yes, his name is really Thor. Though he was technically my disciple, I learned just as much (if not more) from him as he did from me. We like to grill 3lb tomahawk steaks together. Fair warning, though, he's the type who likes to have a conversation while he runs.
Bridesmaid
My little in ADPi and an Army officer! I loved getting to share many good chats, book recs, and candle scents with her! I set her up with her husband (married in May 2024), and I cannot wait to have her by my side in February!
Groomsman
"Single T", as I affectionately call him. Another one of my disciples who has become a great friend. Proof that the Lord is good: he moved all the way to Boston so that we could keep playing pick-up games of spike ball together.
Bridesmaid
A workout inspiration, a fellow adventurer, and someone who never fails to challenge me. Even though we have lived many miles away these past 3 years, our friendship has stayed strong as ever. Can't wait for many more faith-filled life chats and water sports to come!
Groomsman
"King Julian". He was part of the original trio of roommates with Patty and myself, and it would've been half as lively without him. I could always count on him to challenge me in ping-pong at 11:30pm (at the expense of Patty's sleep).
Bridesmaid
She will stick with you in the thick and thin and never fails to give you a good laugh. She constantly inspires me with her ambition and love for her people. If you ever need someone in your corner go to her! Can't wait for more fun-times with our Texan husbands!
Groomsman
Technically started as my campus minister, though I often forget that's how it started. Probably half of the best conversations I've ever had in my life were with Alex. He's also one of the only people who enjoys dragging a dead joke out as long as me. We once went on a silent retreat together - super ironic.
Bridesmaid
She has seen me through it all from ADPi at Georgia Tech to FOCUS missionary at OU. I have loved getting to share so many parts of my life with her. She never fails to ask me the question that I need and is always down for a good walk and chat about hormone health!
Groomsman
"RT" was my very first "disciple" in college, co-leader of our bible study, and my go-to gym buddy in college. He's also one of only three people I've ever shared a room with (shoutout Martin and my freshman-year roommate Jake).
