Where is the wedding? And reception? All outside? What?

Answer

The wedding ceremony & traditional reception will all be located at Austin’s parent’s (Mike & Dawn’s) residence. Yes, it will all be outside, however, we will have a large event tent where dinner & dancing will be held, as well as a restroom trailer on the premises for a less “outdoorsy” bathroom experience. 🙈

Where do we park?

Answer

You will follow the arrow on McStay Road that says “Parking”. It will take you into a CRP grass field. Consider car pooling, or taking your truck or SUV if it rains.

What should we wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested. Think fancy, floral garden party. 🤩🌸 Men would look their best in dress pants/khaki pants & a polo or button down dress shirt. Tie optional. Bright colors encouraged!👔 Women would look their best in floral, bright colored dresses, rompers or jumpsuits. Light colored slacks or dress blouses. 👗Wedge heels or platform sandals are great! No stilettos recommended due to the grass. 😊

What if it rains?

Answer

If it rains, please consider car pooling so that we can avoid any smaller cars getting stuck in the CRP grass, & less muddy mess in the parking area. The ceremony will then be moved under the tent.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to limited space & seating, please check your RSVP to see if we have enough seating to accommodate for your children. Their names will be listed under your RSVP if so.

Is it an open bar?

Answer

One perk of a backyard wedding is that we get to provide all of our own alcohol! 🍻 We will have 2 bartenders slinging drinks all night, & while the drinks will be on us, please bring cash to tip the bartenders! We plan to provide Busch Light, Michelob Ultra, wine, & a few specialty mixed drink options. You are also welcome to bring your own beverages & a small cooler if you like something specific! 😊
