Sydney and Austin love this parade. They rode on a float two years in a row and had a blast. It rolls at 10 a.m. the day of the wedding. It will end around noon, giving guests plenty of time to get ready. It's OK if you come a wee bit cheery :)

If you have to see Bourbon Street, take a quick walk to Pat O'Briens for a famous Hurricane on their outdoor patio or inside at the piano bar. Also has a very nice and rare bathroom.
If you're looking for a great view of the city and the Mississippi River, on top of the Four Seasons Hotel is a large observatory. The hotel also has the Miss River restaurant that serves great duck and andouille gumbo.
This lounge has a merry-go-round piano bar that rotates as you sip your cocktail.
