The story of Austin and Shelby in a nutshell. We've all heard of the one that got away, but what happens when that person keeps coming back into the picture again and again? Well here we are. It started in high school, prom, parties the whole nine. After 6 months Austin moved to Madison and Shelby finished high school before moving to Green Bay. From 2011 to 2023 we were always many miles apart but one could argue still very close in heart. There was always something that kept us crossing paths just enough. After 13 years of wondering why we didn't just give it a shot, we finally spotted up from deep and took that shot. A hot air balloon ride, a couple flights back and forth from Arizona to Wisconsin and we arranged for Shelby's big move. You know it has to be a special connection to pick up everything you've ever known and move across the country to the complete unknown, but Shelby is also just that special of a woman to do it. A trip to Iceland and a secret waterfall turned out to be the perfect place to pop the question 14 years in the making. From a US History class at West Bend High, to our happy home in the desert of Arizona, our story is just beginning. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone February 27th.
