Nestled between Garden of the Gods and at the base of Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs is a great place to spend the afternoon. With many unique shops and restaurants, this tiny town will be sure to keep you busy for however long you'd like. Make sure to bring some spare change as there is a great old-school style arcade in the middle of the town!
Colorado Springs is home to America's ONLY mountain zoo. Located at 6,800 feet above sea level, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo offers breathtaking views of the city and of its 750 animals. You can even feed lettuce to one of the largest reticulated giraffe herds in the world - an exciting experience for young & old!
