What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm. To make sure you are parked and seated before the ceremony, we recommend arriving between 15 -30 mins prior.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. The dress code is Semi-Formal or Cocktail Attire. This means that ladies may wear dresses (cocktail or formal length), dressy jumpsuits, or pantsuits. Gentlemen may wear a day or evening suit with a tie or bowtie.

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 4th so that we can ensure our vendors have adequate time to prepare for the big day.

Can I bring my kids or a date?

Answer

While we wish we could celebrate with everyone, to align with venue constraints and to preserve the intimacy of our event, our guest list only accounts for the individuals specifically addressed on your invitation.

Will there be parking at the location?

Answer

Yes, there is parking by both the Courtyard Stables and the Sugar Hill Barn.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors in the shaded Courtyard Stables. The reception will be indoors at the Sugar Hill Barn.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Early June in Thomasville is generally mild to warm weather with daytime highs of 90 degrees and evening lows of 71 degrees. On average there is a 30% chance of light rain. While it will likely be warm, the ceremony area is immensely shaded and should be comfortable for guests.

Do I need to drive from the ceremony location to the reception?

Answer

Yes. While both the courtyard stables and the Sugar Hill Barn are on Pebble Hill property, you will need to drive from the stables to Sugar Hill Barn. There will be signage and directions on property to guide you.
