Below are two hotels that we recommend for their convenience to both the venue and popular tourist areas like the French Quarter. That said, please feel free to explore other hotels and/or rental options like Airbnb or VRBO! Hotel Block: We have blocked rooms the Hotel Fontenot under the name "Baker-Joy Cockerill Wedding." All reservations will have to made before January 24th. Recommended Hotels: Hotel Pontchartrain- Bride and Groom will be staying here, close to the venue Hotel St. Vincent- Boutique Hotel close to the venue, on the pricer side Hilton Hotel Riverside- Close to the venue, affordable option Higgins Hotel- Close to the Venue, affordable option The most popular neighborhoods to stay in are the Garden District, Central Business District (CBD) and, of course, the French Quarter (light sleepers be warned: the French Quarter is beautiful but party-centric!). TRANSPORTATION: While neighborhoods like the Central Business District and French Quarter are walkable, for general transport, we recommend Lyft or Uber, which are affordable and plentiful.
