What is the dress code for the wedding/ reception

Answer

"Creative Cocktail", we are hoping for a formal yet comfortable vibe. Lower expectations then black tie higher then business casual. But most importantly we want a little bit of flair and fun. Have something you always wanted to wear but never felt like you could take the risk; bring it out! Fun patterns, sequence, feathers, interesting cut/ style, whatever have fun with it. Be yourself, and don't judge others. Also Recel and Austin aren't wearing white, this could be your one chance to wear a white dress to a wedding and it be 100% acceptable.

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Evergreen. The Evergreen is above Loyal Legion. There will be a cocktail hour down stairs at loyal legion in between. The Address is 618 SE Alder St, Portland, OR 97214. See the "Schedule" page for all events

What will food and drink be like at the wedding?

Answer

There will be food and alcohol. Yes. If you have dietary restrictions for any reasons please don’t hesitate to reach out. If you have concerns please let us know how we can help you feel welcome to the table. There will be Vegan and Gluten Free options. Teote will be catering the dinner. What’s the weather like in Dec. / how should we pack?

Answer

The average temperature for December is 45 degrees. It could snow, it’s likely to rain. You should make sure to pack a warm jacket and thick socks if you get cold feet— hopefully you’ll be the only one. I usually suggest to everyone pack layers and switch out what you do and don’t need through the day.

If we are flying in how long should we stay for

For those of you traveling a good distance, we’d love for you to be able to get in on Thursday so you can adjust. But ultimately it’s your call

Will there be anything happening outside

Thankfully no. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be inside. The only time you really need to be outside is if you smoke or if you running out to your Lyft to get home/ back to the hotel. Please drink responsibly

How do I get to the venue and will there be parking?

Answer

We tried to choose hotels close to the venue. That being said if weather and shoe choice permitting you can walk. Lyft/ Uber is you best option. There is paid street parking in the area.
