Aloha, Beaches!

Imagine living a life without the one person you could sit there and truly feel at home with, well that's not us. High school brought us together and immediately we knew this may be the start of the rest of OUR lives together. Never did we expect the immediate connection that happened but when it sank in we knew that we both felt the safety and love radiating from one another. Some days we would just sit there doing absolutely nothing and to be quite honest, it was everything to us. Truly, we compliment and complete each other to every extent that it was never going to be "how we met" that would make the difference but "when we met" because this was the life that was always destined for us. Our journey is just continuing and thank you all for continuing the journey with us!

The day our lives would change forever! Austin surprised me with family and friends at “our spot” on the beach, in Seal Beach, CA. Earlier that morning, us girls went to breakfast and planned to meet up with the boys later in the evening at Ballast Point (I have never been there). So as we’re heading to Ballast Point our good friend, Jojo, pulled into a spot that was very familiar to me. The only thing was, Ballast Point was across the water. Since I have never been there, and after a few drinks, I had no idea what was happening! We all got out of the car and then they started walking fast towards the bathrooms at the beach, so I thought maybe potty break? I kept asking, "Where are we going?", but no one would answer me. When I finally caught up I noticed my family, his family, and our friends. I’m pretty sure at this point I blacked out because I didn’t know what was happening. They all started yelling at me and told me to drop my things and walk. Uhhhh, hello!!!! Walk where?! That’s when I looked up and noticed a walk way of roses and at the end, the love of my life. Is this prom all over again? I still had no idea what was happening. As I started to get closer I noticed a sign behind him which said “MARRY ME”. Im thinking to myself, is this really happening?! How did I not know?! I know EVERYTHING! Lol. As I’m walking up, he grabs my hands, holds me and tells me to calm down because yes, I was crying my eyes out. But the best moment of it all… was when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Oahu, HI!
