What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will be semi-formal, so we'd love to see you in your best dressed-up look! Please keep in mind that the ceremony will be outdoors.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We've worked hard to create an intimate celebration, so only guests listed on your invitation are invited. If your invitation says "plus-one" or includes a guest's name, then yes - we'd love for them to join!

Are kids welcome?

We adore your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a fun night out!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm, so we recommend arriving 30 minutes early to park, find your seat, and settle. 7 Vines Vineyard does allow guests to arrive 60 minutes before the ceremony also!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Our venue offers ample parking since the ceremony and reception are at the same location. If you need to leave your car overnight, that's no problem. The gates will open at 9 a.m. the next day, and you'll need to retrieve your vehicle between 11 a.m. and noon.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

If you stay at the Best Western Plus White Bear Country Inn, you will be provided with a shuttle. Shuttles will transport guests from the hotel to the venue between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. The shuttles will then transport guests from the event back to the hotel between 10 and 11 p.m. This is the only shuttle service provided, therefore if you are staying at another hotel or driving back home, please arrange a ride to and from the venue.

Is there a dress code color to avoid?

Answer

Please avoid wearing white, ivory, or cream to allow the bride to shine in her dress. Bridesmaids will be wearing dusty blue.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoors. Please dress accordingly!

Will there be a plated dinner or a buffet?

Answer

We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour. Then the reception will feature a buffet-style meal. This allows guests to choose from a variety of dishes. At the beginning of the meal, each table will be served plated salads. An event staff member will dismiss each table and direct you to the buffet to choose your meal. The primary courses are chicken and beef based, with various sides.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! When you RSVP, you will be required to select a food option. The meal options are mostly intended to notify us if you have an allergy or dietary restriction. If you do not have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please choose “none”. There will be no food provided that contains nuts or fish/shellfish.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block at Best Western Plus White Bear Country Inn under our name "McDonald/Sullivan Wedding". You must call Best Western (651-429-5393) before 7/8/26 by 9 am to secure a room. Check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 11 am. Complimentary continental breakfast is included. Hotel address is: 4940 North Hwy 61, White Bear Lake, Minnesota 55110
