WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

When I sat down in church in August 2018, I had no idea that the cute guy sitting in front of me would be the man that I would marry a year later. After the service was over, Austin turned around and introduced himself. We quickly discovered that we were both volunteering as youth group leaders (and I'm pretty sure we shared a high-five over this fact, 'cause we're cool). Although we got along well, I don't think that either of us would have considered it "love at first sight," but God had other plans!

Over the next couple months, we got to know each other better as we were both involved in the same ministries at church. Austin asked me out in the parking lot after youth group on October 3, 2018. Our first date was at Bach Yen in Hibbing on October 6, 2018. It didn't take long for us to make our relationship "official," and 8 months later (June 4, 2019), he popped the question. I said yes (of course).

We are getting married in a private ceremony on August 3, 2019, in the presence of our parents, grandparents, and siblings.

We are having an open house reception at the Minnesota Discovery Center on August 18, 2019, from 4:00-8:00PM. We would love for you to join us to celebrate our marriage with food, fellowship, and plenty of activities!
