For a formal Garden Party dress code, the aim is to strike a balance between elegance and comfort suitable for an outdoor setting. FOR MEN: A lightweight, tailored blazer in a neutral color such as navy, gray, black, or beige paired with dress trousers. A button-down shirt in a light color or subtle pattern. Leather loafers or brogues work well. Wearing a tie is unnecessary, but a pocket square can add a touch of style without being too formal. FOR WOMEN: A chic floor-length dress, a mid-length cocktail dress, a pantsuit, or dressy separates. Subtle prints, patterns, and textures are welcomed. Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. The dinner will be indoors, and the reception will be tented.
Please arrive a few minutes early to park your vehicle at The Glass House and to find a seat on the shuttle to the ceremony space. We recommend arriving to the venue around 4:30pm.
Yes, please follow the signs till you reach The Glass House. There is a private parking lot for 75 cars and an overflow parking lot if needed. There will be parking attendants to guide you to the correct area, as well as event security staff on-site. Guests can leave their car in the parking lot overnight, however, must collect their car by 9am the following day.
After careful consideration, we have decided not to provide transportation services to and from the venue. Since we believe most guests will be staying at various Airbnb locations rather than a centralized spot, it seems more practical and safer to avoid the need for multiple trips through various modes of transportation. This decision will help ensure a smoother and more efficient experience for everyone. If you have any concerns with getting to and from the venue, please reach out to us so we can try to accommodate.
We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If this prevents you from attending our wedding, please reach out to us so we can try to accommodate.
Please visit the 'Things to Do' section of our website! Since it's a long weekend, we recommend our guests to spend an extra day or two in The Great Smoky Mountains with friends and family.
