FAQs

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If you received a plus one, your guests name will be listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep our big day as intimate as possible with our close friends and family.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We’re keeping our wedding celebration intimate, and as such, we’re only able to invite those specifically mentioned on the invitation.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love for our family and friends to utilize our big day as an excuse to get dressed up and have fun! Dress code is semi-formal. Please no jeans or hats.

Question

Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held indoors. However, guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoors, including the patio, docks, and walking trails, during the cocktail hour.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

Please RSVP by the date on the invite so we can have an accurate headcount. If you do not RSVP in time, we unfortunately will not be able to have you in attendance.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Poplar Hall is fully wheelchair accessible, featuring an elevator and handicap-accessible restrooms to ensure a comfortable experience for all guests.

Question

Are there any hotel room blocks set aside for guests?

Answer

Yes! Please refer to the 'Travel' section for further details.

Question

What about gifts?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with you, and if you feel inclined to give a gift, please visit our "Registry" page.

Question

Is there parking available at the venue?

Answer

There is a parking lot adjacent to Poplar Hall. If that fills up, try parking in one of the other RiverHeath lots. Please don’t park at the hotel unless you are staying there. If the other lots are full, you can park along on Banta Court all the way up the hill. There is also public parking in Telulah Park, just up Newberry Street.

Question

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

To ensure the best possible photos of our wedding day, we’ve signed an exclusive agreement with our photographer and videographer, giving them the sole rights to capture professional-quality images throughout the event. While we absolutely love that our guests want to capture memories, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during key moments to avoid interfering with the photographer’s work. Your understanding and cooperation will help us preserve these special moments beautifully. Thank you!

Question

Important to know about our venue!

Answer

Poplar Hall is a smoke-free and cashless venue, accepting only credit/debit cards or digital payments. Outside food, beverages, and other carry-ins are not permitted.
