How do I get from the airport to town?

Answer

After customs, you'll go through a hallway of taxi services. If you've ordered a driving service (aka a private driver) they'll wait there. Many people will try to wave you down and offer you things on your way towards the exit. Just walk past them! We recommend using Uber. To get picked up by the Uber, you'll exit the arrivals doors and walk straight ahead past all of the white awnings. There should be a big welcome sign over the road, that is where Ubers may pick you up (you can also ask the attendants waiting outside). Alternatively, you can cross the bridge on the left hand side as you exit the airport. How do I get to the Villa?

We recommend taking an Uber or a taxi! The road to the villa is not walkable. So if you have rented a place nearby, we recommend using Uber! Speaking of Uber, we highly recommend changing your settings in the Uber app to the local currency. Go to "Account" the click "Wallet". You'll scroll down to "Preferred Currency" and choose "No preferred currency"

What's the best navigation?

If you are looking around, Apple Maps is helpful. However, there can be discrepancies with Apple Maps vs Google Maps when you type in a specific address. We recommend using Google Maps to navigate the area!
