Forever and Always

Our story began in September of 2016 when we had our VERY first conversation. Austin and I became great friends quickly and I had a massive crush on him just as quickly. Unfortunately, he had a girlfriend so for months I tried to ignore it, we were friends, having these feelings would ruin everything and his friendship was too important to me! Little did I know, the entire time I was struggling will all of these feelings, he was feeling the same things! It had become painfully obvious to everyone around us, but still, we refused to acknowledge it. We'd talk constantly, flirt, and get jealous, but we were still JUST friends. This continued for about a year, we’d graduated high school, started college (both at Dixie State) and continued being just friends even though we both had fallen completely in love by this point. As stubborn as we both are, it took another three months of spending every waking moment together before we FINALLY gave in and began dating in October of 2017. Right away there was something different about our relationship, something neither of us had experienced before. Our relationship moved at lightening speed, in December of 2017 Austin moved in to my parents house where we started to find our way as “adults”, individually and as a couple. Nearly 2 years later, he moved out to live with his best friend, Jared. While I was convinced it would be the end of our relationship, he knew we needed it. Fortunately, he was right. (Don’t you just hate how he is ALWAYS right?) Once I finally accepted that fact, we learned and grew so much during this time, our relationship thrived. In July of 2022, we finally got a place together! We officially started the beginning of our forever. Our little family (Austin, Ruby, Obi and I) were back together and happier than ever. Everything had always been SO easy, we just fit together perfectly. June 11th 2023, we went out into the woods like we have many times before, but this time Austin brought me to a spot I'd never been before. Behind A1 mountain there is a hill that overlooks all of Northern AZ, it is absolutely beautiful, and on top of this mountain there is only one single tree, carved into this same tree, right on the side of it was “Marry me? AR”. I was shocked, this had to be the best day of my life so far and saying yes was my favorite decision. It has now been 7 1/2 years together, and it’s finally time for us to tie the knot! We are so excited to have you be apart of this special day and cannot wait to celebrate with you!
