In the last month of Freshmen year of college at LSU, fate had Macy sit by Austin in the cafeteria and he knew it was time that he asked for her number. After their first date, they both immediately felt a connection and within a month, Austin was coming on our family vacation to Disney World. We experienced college together, then long distance for 2 1/2 years when Macy moved to Orlando. Austin finally decided to move to Orlando in 2020 and a week later, Covid shut everything down. During that trying time, Macy and Austin were able to spend much needed quality time and their relationship grew stronger than ever. On August 7th, 2023, Austin proposed on a family vacation and Macy said “duh”! Now we are 10 years in with our adorable pup and can’t wait to celebrate our decade together at the wedding!!
