Walk Driftwood Beach
Check the tide before you go! Download the Jekyll Island app (in the app store the image has white text along the top reading "Jekyll," and bottom says "Island," with the top of a lighthouse in the middle of the frame) and plan a walk at low tide
Take a Trolley Tour of the Historic District
Enjoy a guided tour through the historic district via a cute trolley! Learn about the empire builders that shaped our nation's future (and vacationed on this barrier island).
Tour the Georgia Sea Turtle Center
Austin and I went here on a double date during our visit - don't forget to check out the rehabilitation tanks in the back!
Rum Distillery Tour and Tasting
We took the tour and had a tasting with friends when we visited! It was a 20 minute drive from the hotel but a great experience and even better tasting :) Austin had to order a bottle of their "Imperial Brown Ale Cask Exchange – 86 proof" definitively worth the visit!
Play Mini Golf
Two 18-hole courses - needless to say, this looks like a blast!
Take a Horseback Ride on the Beach
While Austin and I didn't hop on a horse during our visit, we DID see a couple moseying along on a guided tour that looked very cute.
