There are so many trail options, including the Buttermilk Trail, the Pipeline, The Pump House, The Potterfield Bridge, the Belle Isle walking bridge, and so many more. Depending on the weather, you might be able to hop in or rent some kayaks to go for a float!
It sounds odd to walk through a cemetary, but this historical space is the most beautiful cemetary you will every see. It could also be considered a "river walk" since the views of the James are impeccable from the cliffs. Bring a picnic and enjoy the old growth trees and calming atmosphere.
