We're getting married!

Lili and Austin’s love story began in 2019 when they met while working together at Jimmy John’s. What started as coworkers quickly turned into a meaningful connection as they spent the next couple of years getting to know one another. Eventually, Austin worked up the courage to ask Lili on a date — picking her up after a shift and taking her to Dairy Queen, where they talked for hours over ice cream. From that night on, they began spending more and more time together, and their lives slowly started to intertwine. Together, they celebrated countless milestones: graduating high school, finishing hair school, starting their careers, and dreaming about the future they wanted to build side by side. In July of 2023, they took a huge step forward by purchasing their first home in West Burlington, where they still live today. They quickly turned that house into a home and welcomed three furry “children” into their family — Oscar, Gracie Belle, and Eugene. In October of 2024, during a special weekend trip, Austin proposed to Lili, and she said yes to forever. From coworkers to best friends to life partners, their journey has been filled with love, growth, and unforgettable memories. Now, they’re excited to spend the rest of their lives together — creating new adventures, chasing their dreams, and building a love that lasts a lifetime.
