When are you actually getting married?

Answer

We’ll be officially tying the knot in a private ceremony on October 17, 2025, just the two of us. This date is extra special because it was Lacey’s grandparents’ anniversary (they were married 59 years!). We can’t wait to celebrate with our people at: 🌊 West Coast – September 6 | 🍂 East Coast – October 25 Whether you're joining us in person or cheering us on from afar, you’re a meaningful part of our story!

🍂 East Coast, 10/25/25: We are so fortunate that our dear Williamsburg friends are opening up their home and backyard to host this celebration! 📍 Location: Joseph & Jessica Hazelaar’s Home 9219 Croaker Rd Williamsburg, VA 23188 You’ll see signs and parking directions as you arrive - more details to come closer to the event!

What should I know about parking?

🍂 East Coast, 10/25/25: There is no parking at the wedding location. Please use one of the shuttle options below. I live locally / have a rental car: where should I go? Park at Liberty Live Church (8201 Croaker Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188). Shuttles will run continuously between the church and the wedding location from 1:45–2:30 pm (last drop-off at 2:30 pm). Return shuttles will run throughout the evening until 10:00 pm. I’m staying at the hotel: is there a ride for me? Yes! Guests at the Hilton Garden Inn / SpringHill Suites on Richmond Rd can catch a one-time shuttle departing at 1:15 pm sharp. A return shuttle to the hotel will depart around 9:30 pm.

What time should I arrive?

🍂 East Coast, 10/25/25: Feel free to start arriving any time after 2:00 PM, we’ll have refreshments waiting! Please plan to be on-site no later than 2:30 PM, as the ceremony will begin shortly after and you won’t want to miss it. Then we’ll roll right into a backyard celebration with food, drinks, yard games, and cozy fall vibes.

What should I wear?

🍂 East Coast, 10/25/25: Our East Coast celebration is a backyard garden BBQ with lawn games, an open bar, and cozy fall vibes. Think: whimsical autumn gathering - festive and fun, not formal. Dressy casual works great: sundresses, cardigans, nice jeans or slacks, flowy tops, etc. The event will be outside on a mix of pool deck and grassy lawn, so please skip the heels and go with flats, boots, or other comfy shoes. Fall layers (like light jackets or wraps) are a good idea as it may cool off once the sun sets. Come ready to sip cider, toss a bean bag, and enjoy the afternoon!

Will there be other activities or events?

🍂 East Coast, 10/25/25: Yes! We’d love for you to join us for two casual gatherings at Joe & Jess’s home (9219 Croaker Rd, Williamsburg): Welcome Party on Friday, October 24 from 5–8pm. Mellow Mushroom pizza and drinks provided. Parking is available at the house. Farewell Brunch on Sunday, October 26 starting at 10am. Coffee, pastries, and a chance to help us wrap up the weekend. Flexible end time. Parking is available at the house.

How can I contribute to your registry?

We are so honored by your love and generosity! Thank you for supporting us as we start this next chapter. We’ve registered for a mix of things that are meaningful to us: - Our Land Fund and Honeymoon cash funds can be contributed to directly through Zola (via card). If you'd prefer to avoid fees, feel free to use Venmo (@laceyjewell), send a check, or just reach out. - We’ve also selected a few physical gifts and upgrades for our home (and RV!) that you can order directly and have sent to us through Zola.
