We would like to know who you are bringing with you. For families: This is so we have a head count and names. This is not a kid free event. Unless you want to be without your kiddos. We are not going to make you choose between attending or not because you have kids. There is a playroom with toys and a TV at the venue. For friends: If you have a date lined out for the wedding. Mark their name down or holler at us. Glad to have them. This is all so we can plan accordingly and have a head count for the venue. If you need us to add someone to the guest list. Let us know.
There are a few rules the venue has a policy for. No outside drinks that have alcohol. It’s an open bar. Just bring tip money for the bartender. And know your limits. They will ask you to leave if you exceed them. No vehicles can staying overnight. Therefore, have a DD if you are par taking in the open bar. The pond! They have a very strict rule that all kiddos have an adult with them outside. The pond is a little bit away from the barn but we all know how fast things happen. So please keep an eye out for kids without someone trailing them. Let’s have no accidents with the pond. No firearms on the property. This one is disappointing for Austin and I. But rules are rules. No fighting. That’s kinda obvious but they will get the law involved if hands start flying. So let’s keep cool heads. The chairs upstairs need to stay upstairs. They do not want them brought downstairs because they will scratch the floor. Damage done to the property of the venue. Let’s avoid doing anything that would potentially cause damage to their property or ourselves. Accidents happen, but we don’t want to pay for any if we can help it.
It is very likely that it will be hot and humid. So dress for the weather. Semi formal/casual. Jeans and a polo perfectly acceptable. Don’t want to wear a dress? We are not going to make you. Just come how you will feel most comfortable for the weather.
