Austin and I met in the thick of COVID in May 2020. While we hit it off immediately, we didn’t start dating until later, which just means we were built on a foundation of true friendship. Once we met, we were immmeditatly inseparateable. We have spent every day together since we met, other than when one of us was out of town. We honestly spent months staying up til 6am, getting McDonald’s breakfast, and sleeping all day. In October of 2020, I broke my leg and was unable to walk for two months. I told Austin, “you didnt sign up for this, you dont have to take care of me.” He looked me in the eye and told me we take care of each other. And he was right, we take care of each other, before that moment and every day since. We have always said the universe heard our pleas for someone safe and reliable and she finally said “HERE, DAMN” and slammed us together. We survived a pandemic; we allowed ourselves to be vulnerable; and we showed the darkest parts of ourselves. We saw each other completely, with nowhere to hide, and we fell in love. In February 2023, we decided to face our fears and be even more vulnerable - we started our relationship. Our love caught like fire, growing to become an unmanageable, raging love. A love we can only conclude has been before. Our souls have bonded before and fought their way back to each other, a fight we believe we will fight again to be reunited. Our love puts music, movies, and novels to shame. After stolen rings and a break during designing, we got engaged in December of 2024. I had NOT A CLUE, whereas everyone else in our lives knew. Austin secretly hired a photographer and surprised me with a ring at one of “our” parks, on a dock, by the water. The ring, the location, and the man were all perfect. We immediately jumped into planning a celebration of our love, thanks to the help of my own personal wedding planner, Jessica Farley. We have invited you all to come join our celebration of our sappy love on October 18, 2025. We recommend bringing your tissues, cause we will definitely be shedding some tears! We can’t wait to show off our once in a lifetime love, and most importantly, be united as one.
