Our story is a modern-day love story—and very fitting if you know us. Austin pulled the classic “slide into the DMs,” and Kendall’s very first message to him was, “Are you a creep?” (Spoiler: he wasn’t.) What started as taking a chance on a random guy from the internet quickly became something so much more. Looking back, we can clearly see the Lord’s hand in it all. From the moment we met in July 2023, we both knew we were meant to be. On February 14, 2026, Austin got down on one knee in the living room of Kendall’s family’s home on Kentucky Lake. There were no phones, no photographer, and no big production—just the two of us in a quiet, meaningful moment that reflected exactly who we are together. It was simple, intentional, and so special. Since then, we’ve built a life we truly love—one centered on faith, love, and the simple blessings God has given us. We live in a farmhouse that’s been in Austin’s family for generations, alongside our rough collie, Scout, who is basically our child (and might be a little spoiled). We truly are best friends, and we thank God every day for bringing us together in such an unexpected way. We believe He created us for each other, and we feel so blessed to walk through this life side by side. We can’t wait to enter into marriage almost exactly one year after the day we got engaged, making every Valentine's Day just that much more special!
