Can I book a room at the resort on the official Majestic resorts website or a third party travel site like booking.com/expedia or through another travel agent?

NO. Please book using the DIRECT link provided on our wedding website. Our travel agency has secured the most affordable rates for our guests along with payment plan options. Please be advised that the resort will not count you as a wedding guest if your reservation is made outside of the room block. NO EXCEPTONS. Do I need my passport to travel?

Answer

Yes, and this includes children. Please ensure you have valid and proper travel documentation. It is recommended that your passport is valid for 6 months after your planned return home, so make sure to check your passport's expiration date! The processing times are currently longer than normal so if you don’t have your passport yet, please take care of it as soon as possible.

Do we have to formally RSVP?

Answer

The answer is yes and no. Your reservation on the booking website serves as your FORMAL and confirmed RSVP to our wedding. Our website does have the "CONFIRM ATTENDANCE" tab available. This is simply to get an estimated count of people who share interest in attending.

When is your RSVP or resort booking deadline?

Answer

We have entrusted Seaside Rendezvous Weddings to book the accommodations for our guests. Your reservation and deposit serve as your RSVP, so to make this wedding planning process as simple as possible for us, we request that you book your resort accommodations for our wedding through our room block only. Due to limited inventory, we recommend reserving your rooms ASAP. Reservations are based on a first come first serve basis. [ March 1st, 2025 ] - Last day to reserve your room with an initial deposit of 50% or full payment (plus optional non-refundable transfer and insurance). [ August 1st, 2025 ] - Final Payment Due. NO EXCEPTIONS. Payment must be received on or before the due date or your reservation will be automatically canceled with no refund to prior payments made (plus non-refundable transfer, insurance, and airfare). Deposits and Payments MUST be received ON or BEFORE the due date or your reservation will be automatically canceled and subject to applicable penalties (plus non-refundable transfer, insurance, and airfare). You’ll be responsible to make your payments timely and pay the balance in full before the set deadlines. The hotel has a 4-night minimum requirement on all reservations. The dates above are the contracted dates set forth in the room block; you can request to book your reservation within these dates. Deviation outside of these dates (before FRIDAY NOVEMBER 7, 2025, after FRIDAY NOVEMBER 14, 2025) may result in a rate change and is subject to availability.

Do I have to book my own flight? When should I book my flight?

Answer

All guests are required to book their own flights. Flight schedules for American Airlines, United and Delta are published 10 months in advance. All other airlines are 6-8 months (times may vary per airline).

Am I allowed to bring a plus one to the wedding?

Answer

We understand that attending a wedding alone isn't always the most enjoyable experience. . . let alone in another country. Flying solo isn't for everybody! If your wedding invitation includes "and guest" or the name of your plus-one, you are welcome to bring someone along with you. We kindly ask that you limit the number of guests in your party to those specifically mentioned on your invitation. [ Unfortunately, our actual resort venue limits the number of attendees we can accommodate for the ceremony and reception. ] We are thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation!

What room options are avaliable for reservations? Is there a difference?

Answer

This resort offers two choices: the Family Section (suitable for all ages) and the Elegance Club (for guests 18 and older). You can book either option, but only guests of the Elegance Club can access the 18+ areas of the resort. If you are not traveling with children, we suggest choosing the Club side, as it features a larger area with more amenities like pools and bars. [ NOTE: Your choice between the Family and Club sides will not affect your participation in our wedding events. ]

How many people can stay in one room?

Answer

Up to four people, including children (max up to 3 adults and/or max 2 adults and 2 children under 12 years old, and/or 3 adults and one child), can stay in a single reservation. There is a variety of room types available for booking. Each room type has specific capacity and occupancy details for the number of people allowed in the reservation. When you book your reservation through our travel agency's link, you will be able to view the room rates and the total pricing for the nights you have selected.

What does all inclusive at Majestic Elegance mean?

Answer

Majestic Resorts provides a 24-hour all-inclusive package at each of its properties. This means that the cost of your accommodation includes the hotel room, meals, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. [ AIRFARE + TRANSPORTATION IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS PRICE ] All rooms at the Majestic Elegance are furnished with the highest quality materials and include all the facilities you would expect in a luxury 5-star resort. Spacious rooms, king size bed or double size beds, open bathroom with a bathtub and separate rain shower. Independent room service door, smart TV, independent air conditioning control, telephone, free WIFI, mini bar, safety deposit box, coffee machine, desk and garment steamer. Most rooms have balconies with an outdoor Jacuzzi for two and lounge bed.

What facilities and services are included in Majestic Elegance's all inclusive program?

What is the wedding ceremony and reception dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is beach cocktail. We suggest choosing lighter fabrics to keep cool in the heat. Just a quick note: gentlemen, please avoid shorts / flip flops, and ladies, we kindly ask you to skip the white. Your comfort matters to us! While none of our official wedding events will take place on the beach or sand, it will be hot, so please plan your outfits accordingly! There will be time in between these events. Feel free to use this as an opportunity to return to your rooms to freshen up if necessary.

Are you having an unplugged wedding?

Answer

We invite you to be fully present with us during our ceremony! We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture these special moments so that you can sit back, relax and enjoy it with us. While our ceremony will not be completely unplugged, we kindly ask that you silence (or turn off) your devices to maintain the intimate atmosphere. Additionally, please be mindful to stay out of the aisle and avoid obstructing any camera shots. Nobody likes a photobomber! Your understanding and cooperation will help us create beautiful memories that we can all cherish. Thank you for being a part of our day!

I have some dietary restrictions. Will there be food options for me?

Answer

Absolutely, we will provide a variety of food options to cater to everyone's tastes during the reception! If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know as soon as you can. This will help us coordinate with the resort to ensure that we can make the necessary arrangements for you. When dining at the restaurants onsite, the staff will also ask you if you have any specific dietary modifications / restrictions.

Can I drink the water at the resort?

Answer

It is recommended to drink bottled or purified water in Mexico. You will have access to water bottles throughout the property and your room. Use the bottled water in your room to brush your teeth. The water/ice in your drinks at the restaurants and bars are filtered and safe to consume.

Is there a dress code at this resort?

Certain restaurants at the resort require a dress code for entrance. There are recommendations listed below. [ CASUAL WEAR ] At the buffet, breakfast or poolside bar and grills. Shorts, t-shirts and bathing suits with cover ups. Sandals or flip flops. [ RESORT CASUAL ] At a la carte restaurants for breakfast and lunch. Resort Casual is a step up from Casual Wear. Includes sundresses, capris, nicer shorts, and polo tops or blouses. Dressier sandals or flip flops. [ RESORT ELEGANT ] Sometimes called Evening Attire or Cocktail Attire. Usually required at the a la carte restaurants, at dinner time. Cocktail dresses or blouses with skirts or slacks. Slacks with button down shirts. No sneakers or flip flops.

Do I need to tip the staff at an all inclusive resort?

Tipping is not mandatory at most all-inclusive resorts, but it is appreciated. It's important to remember that tipping isn't necessary on every occasion. It is common to give tips to people who provide personal services, like waiters, bartenders, hotel staff, and tour guides. When traveling, it's advisable to carry around $150 to $300 USD in small bills, such as $1, $5, and $10, specifically for tipping purposes. It is recommended to express appreciation for good service by tipping during your vacation! US dollars are widely welcomed if you do not want to exchange USD to pesos.
