It was Kelly's freshman year and Austin's junior year at UW-Stevens Point. Kelly attended one of the many parties held at the Austin's college house (also known as the "basketball house") where they met. They ended up peppering a volleyball in their basement until 4am. Meanwhile, Austin managed to get Kelly's number through a mutual friend (a true gentleman), and she received a text from him the next day. The rest is history!

After being together for six years, Austin popped the question Christmas Eve 2020 in front of Kelly's parents and brother. Then they headed up to Winneconne, WI to celebrate with Austin's family to top off the most perfect day! Fun fact: he had the ring since July 2020 and kept it in his work backpack for 6 months!
