All The Little Details

This page answers common questions about our wedding day details. If you don't see your question here or need more info, please feel free to reach out to us at countdowntocraig@gmail.com.
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please wear your Sunday best. We kindly ask that women wear dresses, skirts, or dress slacks, and men wear suits or khakis paired with a collared shirt. Please avoid jeans, baseball caps, or any casual attire, and as a courtesy to the bride, please refrain from wearing any shades of white or ivory.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Seating will begin 45 minutes prior to the ceremony. We ask that guests arrive no earlier than 4:00, as early arrivals may disrupt pre-ceremony preparations and special moments taking place before the event begins. Please plan to arrive no later than 10 minutes before the ceremony to ensure everyone is seated comfortably and allow the wedding party to prepare for the processional without disruption. We will be starting promptly at 5:00 and we don't want you to miss a moment!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We will be having an outdoor ceremony, weather permitting. Don't worry - we will have handheld fans to keep everyone cool! Should the weather not cooperate, we will simply move the ceremony indoors.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those specified on the invitations. If your invitation includes a plus one, we warmly welcome you to bring a guest. Otherwise, we kindly ask that you attend solo to help us accommodate all our loved ones.

Question

What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

The RSVP deadline of May 15th has now passed and our guest count has been finalized. We will miss those who are unable to attend, and look forward to celebrating with those of you who are!

Question

Is it ok to post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Yes, we're happy for you to share photos! Feel free to use our wedding hashtag #countdowntocraig so we don't miss any of your wonderful moments. Please wait to post any pictures of the bride and groom until after they have shared their own photos. Thank you for helping us preserve these special memories!

Question

Am I allowed to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos during our unplugged ceremony. We want everyone to fully enjoy the moment with us and ensure the photographer can capture the day without any distractions. We appreciate you being present and helping us make the ceremony special for everyone!
