Parents of the Groom
I have to say thank you to the best parents I could have asked for. They raised all three of their kids into amazing people, and we are so lucky for that. I really appreciate all they have done for me throughout the years. Between driving me to and from practice every day in high school, and helping me with my house, I cannot thank them enough.
Parents of the Bride
Words cannot express how lucky I am to have such amazing parents. Being an only child my parents were always there for me in more ways than I can explain. I am not only lucky enough to call them my parents but my friends as well. I had two incredible coaches growing up; my dad coaching me soccer and my mom everything else. I would not have been the athlete that I was without their support. I want to thank them for raising me and shaping me to the young woman I am today. I love you both so much!
Best Man
This was probably the easiest decision of my life. This guy has always had my back through everything. He is not afraid to tell me how it is, but he's also so caring. He is very inspiring. He is one of the hardest working people I have ever met. His dedication is beyond belief, and when he puts his mind to something, he does it. Having Chris next to me when I marry Katherine will be perfect.
Maid of Honor
We met in Kindergarten, on bus R, and have been friends ever since. Olivia is one of those friends that you don't see all the time, but that bond lasts and doesn't go away. She was there when I needed support, when I needed guidance, and when I needed my friend. My special day would not be the same without her, and I am so glad that she will be by my side when I marry my best friend.
Groomsman
For those of you that know Zach, you probably love him. He's a great dude. He is super funny and hard working. When he's not busy saving lives, hes probably playing with his cat Onion, eating some McChickens, or stomping some nerds in Overwatch. I don't know what it is, but neither of us can stop making acronyms for things that don't need acronyms. It's pretty neat.
Bridesmaid
We met at age two and she was my first best friend. There is tremendous value in someone's first best friend, and I just had to have Jenna by my side when I get married. Jenna is not afraid to tell me how it is when I need to be guided. She's got that sass to her, and that's something that I love. If you are in the mood, Jenna is a master barista for cheese latte's.
Groomsman
Brandan is definitely the strongest friend I have ever had. Have you seen him? Jokes aside, he's a great person to have in my corner. He is so caring, thoughtful, and supportive. His competitive edge drives me to be a bit more motivated in all things. I'm so glad to have reconnected with Brandan years ago. Did you know that Vermont is not in Canada?
Bridesmaid
Being an only child, I have always thought about what my life would be like if I had a sister. Now I don't need to ask myself that question. One of the best things about meeting Austin was gaining another family and sister. Adrienne is such an amazing, beautiful, and talented person and I am so lucky to have her in my life now.
Groomsman
"Dude, you just went a 1:10!" was the first thing that I heard after finishing a race during the swim season. For some reason, I will always remember this quote. It wasn't an amazing time, but Hoy was right there to cheer me on. Besides diving, one of the strongest memories I have from my swimming and diving career was seeing Hoy in my lane cheering me on the loudest. Hoy was the first friend of mine that Katherine met, and there was a reason for that. A friend like this is worth sharing.
Bridesmaid
Some of the best people you meet are later on in your life. Besides being friends, we are also going to be family, marrying complete weirdos (Zach and Austin.) I look up to Shannon and her work ethic is unmatched. She's an amazing person to talk to, and we always have a lot of fun when the boys are busy playing video games.
