Attire is cocktail. This means men are encouraged to wear a suit (tie optional), or a blazer and dress pants, while women are encouraged to wear a dress (whatever length makes you feel comfortable), or dressy separates - dress your best! We kindly ask guests to keep in mind that the ceremony will take place in a sacred space and are requesting no jeans please!
Please arrive to the church 15-20 minutes before as the ceremony will begin promptly at 1:30pm.
Whether you are Catholic or not, we want you to feel welcomed! During a Catholic wedding Mass, you’ll notice there are moments when the congregation is invited to sit, stand, or kneel. You are not expected to know what to do, just follow along as the priest will guide the congregation through it all.
Parking is located behind the Church in the Hallmark Parking lot
This is known as the "Catholic Gap". This occurs because Catholic Churches often schedule weddings in the morning or early afternoon to accommodate Saturday evening mass. Feel free to use this time as you please before cocktail hour at 5pm at the Hilton President Hotel. The bridal party will be taking pictures around Kansas City at this time. Guests are welcome to take a break at your hotel (or even check in if you arrived at the time of the ceremony), head to the President Hotel for a cocktail in the Drum Room, explore Power and Light District for drinks and/or a small bite to eat, and more! Visit the "Things to do" tab for more ideas. Looking for other cocktail bar favorites? King G, Casual Animal, Parlor, Fern Bar, The Campground, Loews Kansas City Hotel Bar are a few nearby!
The ceremony will end at around 2:30pm with cocktail hour beginning at 5pm on the 2nd Floor of The Hilton President Hotel, followed by the reception at 6pm on the 12th floor.
As much as we would love to celebrate with everyone, we kindly ask that you only bring the individuals listed on your formal invitation - these will be sent closer to the wedding date!
