The Wedding Website of Kasey Coonan and Austin Barbin

Kasey and Austin first met in 2019 at the University of Maryland, introduced by mutual friends. Kasey quickly developed a crush, and as they spent more time together, the feeling became mutual. Throughout freshman year, their friendship grew from pregames in Baltimore Hall and shared Statistics homework (Kasey sending Austin answers). In 2020, COVID hit, and they were sent home, with their connection dwindling to the occasional Snapchat or text. By December, they found their way back to each other, and when they returned to campus in January, they were inseparable. On February 20, Austin finally made it official and asked Kasey to be his girlfriend—and they haven’t looked back since. That spring, they grew so much, spending every day together. When Austin decided to transfer to Liberty University, they committed to making long-distance work. They prioritized their connection through love letters, FaceTimes, and memorable visits, keeping their bond strong despite the miles in between.

While navigating the challenges of long distance, Kasey and Austin cherished every moment they got together. They took an active interest in each other's hobbies to spend time together, but a shared passion for cooking became a unique love language. In the kitchen, they enjoy being each other’s sous-chefs, trying new recipes, sipping wine, and making memories with each meal. In May 2023, Kasey graduated from the University of Maryland, with Austin by her side. While Kasey began her full-time job, Austin returned to Liberty for a fifth year to finish his degree and pursue his golf career. By the summer of 2024, Austin had graduated, and they kicked off a summer to remember. In Cape May, surrounded by loved ones, Austin dropped to one knee and asked Kasey to be his wife. Now, they’re excited to get married, move into their first place, and start this next chapter together. They cannot wait to celebrate their love with you!
