Let’s take it back to the summer of 2016. It was a Sunday morning at Vintage Church in Randleman, NC. Kaitlyn was standing outside talking to a friend when out of the corner of her eye she sees a tall, broad shouldered man. They locked eyes and she immediately thought he was cute and he felt the same way. She wondered who he was and why she had never seen him before. A few Sunday’s later she happened to bump into the stranger “accidentally” and they struck up a conversation. They introduced themselves to each other and Kaitlyn soon learned the mystery man’s name was Austin. After further conversation Kaitlyn learned that Austin was a 17 year old high school senior. She was disappointed because she was about to turn 22 and had just graduated college. They were both a little unsure about the age gap and decided not pursue each other, but over the next two years Kaitlyn and Austin would chat with one another while at church. Austin would go out of his way to flirt with Kaitlyn hoping she would do the same in return, but she let him chase. Austin prayed during this time that one day God would bring them both together. Fast forward to the summer of 2018. Kaitlyn’s dad had been volunteering on the security team at Vintage and met Austin. Kaitlyn’s dad knew that Austin had a crush on her and he knew she had some feelings about Austin as well. One Sunday Kaitlyn’s dad randomly told Austin he should ask Kaitlyn to coffee. Austin was shocked, but used this as his opportunity to finally ask her out. So later that day Austin walked up to Kaitlyn laughed and said, “So your dad said I should take you out for coffee.” Kaitlyn was shocked that her dad had done this. She laughed it off though and never really gave him answer. Later that day he messaged her about it again on Instagram. Realizing he was serious she finally agreed to go on a date with Austin on September, 21st 2018. Now here they are 3 years later ready to say I do and they want you to be a part of their special day!
