Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes. The attire for the evening is black tie optional. Channel your inner Daisy Buchanan/ALT/[insert style icon here] and dress to impress! It’s also important to note that the event will take place entirely outdoors, so consider bringing an extra layer for when the sun goes down if you tend to get chilly.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided, so please arrange to drive or Uber/Lyft to and from the Hermitage.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The entire event (ceremony, cocktails, reception) will take place at the Hermitage, which has plenty of parking for those who choose to drive. It’s also fine to leave your car overnight should you need to Uber/Lyft home.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The Hermitage closes to the public at 5 pm and the ceremony starts promptly at 5:30 pm. Therefore, please arrive between 5 and 5:15 pm.

Question

Can I tour the Hermitage Museum during the event?

Answer

Yes, and please do! The museum will be open and available for your perusal throughout the evening, so don’t miss your chance to peep the former Sloane residence’s truly stunning architecture, as well as Mrs. Sloane's vast art collection.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. If you require a sitter, we recommend the following companies: Children Event Sitters (childreneventsitters.com), Playtime Event Sitters (playtimesitters.com), and A Helping Hand (ahelpinghandevents.com).

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to budget and space limitations, we can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, unless your plus one is specifically named on the invitation, we ask that you fly solo.
