COVID-19

We strongly recommend getting tested the week before the wedding if possible. If you have not tested negative in the two weeks leading up to the wedding, we recommend wearing a mask while in close proximity to others. The ceremony will be outside right next to the barn where the reception will be. There will be lawn games and tables outside, so you can spend all of your time outside if you wish! We will make sure there is plenty of hand sanitizer and extra masks :) We obviously want to be as safe as possible, but unfortunately do not have complete control over the situation, so there will always be a level of risk with attending any social event. Please do not come if you are feeling ill or if you have been recently exposed. Let me know if you have any questions, tips, or concerns for keeping this a fun AND safe event!

How We Met

July 2014

Isabelle and Austin met working as scribes in the emergency room of a children's hospital in Memphis. Isabelle was immediately interested in Austin, but despite many attempts on her part to meet up outside of work, he always had an excuse. Unfortunately, he accepted a full time job working at Papa Murphy's and they lost contact. Just when she accepted that it was not meant to be, they matched on Tinder! Trapped as he was, he agreed to go on a date, and they have been inseparable ever since.

The Proposal

March 15th 2019

It was a sunny, Spring day at the botanical gardens, and Austin and Isabelle were at Match Day for the graduating class of UTHSC College of Medicine. All of the students were on edge, as they were about to find out where they would be moving for the start of their residency. Austin and Isabelle were both convinced they would be moving to Nashville, but were hoping for New Orleans. After a suspenseful countdown, they were thrilled when they opened the envelope to discover a letter from Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans! They then took a walk in the garden and that's when the proposal happened! They had an amazing weekend celebrating the match and the proposal with family and friends.
