We're so excited to share our special day with you!

Nuestra aventura comenzó en julio de 2019 en Bumble. Después de un torbellino de mensajes, finalmente nos conocimos en nuestra primera cita en Tradition's Restaurant and Pub. Las horas pasaron volando mientras nos conectábamos sin esfuerzo, y el resto, como dicen, es historia. A lo largo de nuestro viaje, Austin documentó meticulosamente cada cita que compartimos, como un testimonio de los recuerdos preciosos que estábamos creando. El 22 de agosto de 2019, él me pidió oficialmente que fuera su novia, y nuestra historia de amor realmente floreció. Luego vino 2020, un año de incertidumbre debido a la pandemia. Sin embargo, también nos acercó más, ya que comenzamos a hablar seriamente sobre nuestro futuro juntos. En 2021, dimos un paso importante al comprar nuestra primera casa y dar la bienvenida a nuestro querido perro, Scout, a nuestra familia en crecimiento. Apreciamos mucho a nuestra pequeña familia y pronto decidimos darle a Scout un hermano peludo, Cubbie. Nuestro amor por la aventura nos llevó a emocionantes viajes a Colorado, Maine y muchos otros destinos hermosos. Yo también le presenté a Austin mis raíces, llevándolo a San Pedro de los Naranjos, México, donde nacieron mis padres. El 23 de septiembre de 2023, Austin me sorprendió con la propuesta más increíble. Eligió un lugar especial en un sendero que habíamos recorrido muchas veces juntos en los Indiana Dunes. Rodeada de mi familia amorosa – mis padres, hermanas, sobrina, sobrinos y cuñado – se arrodilló y le dije ¡SÍ! Para coronar el día inolvidable, Austin había planeado una cena sorpresa con ambas familias. Y por si eso no fuera suficiente, organizó una fiesta de compromiso sorpresa con nuestros amigos más cercanos, haciendo que fuera una noche verdaderamente mágica. Estamos emocionados de compartir este capítulo especial con todos ustedes mientras emprendemos juntos esta nueva y emocionante aventura.

Our adventure began in July 2019 on Bumble. After a whirlwind of messages, we finally met for our first date at Tradition's Restaurant and Pub. Hours flew by as we effortlessly connected, and the rest, as they say, is history. Throughout our journey, Austin meticulously documented every date we shared, a testament to the precious memories we were creating. On August 22, 2019, he officially asked me to be his girlfriend, and our love story truly blossomed. Then came 2020, a year of uncertainty due to the pandemic. However, it also brought us closer, as we began to seriously discuss our future together. In 2021, we took a significant step by purchasing our first home and welcoming our beloved dog, Scout, into our growing family. We cherished our little family and soon decided to give Scout a furry brother, Cubbie. Our love for adventure led us on exciting trips to Colorado, Maine, and many other beautiful destinations. I also introduced Austin to my roots, taking him to San Pedro de los Naranjos, Mexico, where my parents were born. On September 23rd, 2023, Austin surprised me with the most incredible proposal. He chose a special spot on a trail we had hiked many times together at Indiana Dunes. Surrounded by my loving family – my parents, sisters, niece, nephews, and brother-in-law – he got down on one knee, and I said YES! To top off the unforgettable day, Austin had planned a surprise dinner with both of our families. And as if that wasn't enough, he had orchestrated a surprise engagement party with our closest friends, making it a truly magical evening. We are overjoyed to share this special chapter with you all as we embark on this exciting new journey together.
