Glass & Vine

Glass & Vine is a Latin fusion restaurant in Coconut Grove! The restaurant is a casual little garden oasis that has a deck overlooking green grass, a playground, and trees swaying in the breeze. For a light dinner, be sure to make it in time for their happy hour.

CocoWalk Mall

3015 Grand Avenue, Miami, FL 33133

CocoWalk is an outdoor mall in Coconut Grove. The shopping mall has stores such as Edite Mode, Victoria’s Secret, GAP, Maui Nix and Tervis. When you’re all shopped out, regain your energy at one of the restaurants, such as a burger at Duffy’s Sports Grill or Mexican food at El Burrito.

Lulu

3105 Commodore Plaza, Miami, FL 33133

Lulu is a great spot to grab brunch in Coconut Grove. You can choose between things like red velvet waffles, huevos rancheros, eggs benedict, Kobe beef sliders and crunchy green tomatoes. This popular spot also mixes a range of brunch-suitable cocktails, such as bloody marys and mimosas made with blood orange or guava. Ask for a table outside if the weather permits, and relax in the shade of the giant umbrellas.

Coconut Grove Organic Market

Every Saturday from 10:30am-6:30pm there is a farmer's marker in Coconut Grove with dozens of fruit and vegetable stands, a raw bar of prepared foods and salads and coolers filled with cold-pressed juices and nut milks available for purchase!

Bayshore Club

Bayshore Club is a beautiful restaurant in Coconut Grove located on the water! The menu at Bayshore Club offers up a range of seafood-leaning dishes like crab causa, tuna tartare, grilled fish tacos, blackened mahi, and a large assortment of raw bar options like the Cocktail Cooler, featuring two dozen blue crab cocktail claws, two dozen red royal shrimp, and the Bayshore Club’s “secret sauce” on a bed of ice inside a boat cooler. For brunch, expect both salty and sweet dishes with the lobster and goat cheese omelet, breakfast sandwich, low country shrimp and grits, and a Medianoche French toast. A full bar is also available.

Vizcaya Museum & Gardens

Vizcaya Museum includes more than 2,500 antique art objects and furnishings; 10 acres of immaculately landscaped gardens, including 2,000 orchids; and 25 acres of endangered forest lands. Austin and I visited the museum during a trip to Miami and loved it!

The Taurus Coconut Grove

The Taurus is a good place for everyone, from wine and whiskey connoisseurs to casual drinkers. Their drinks are great, and so is their food. Taurus offers brunch and dinner, serving everything from eggs, omelettes, and waffles to quesadillas, burgers, and chicken. Bonus points if you go since it's named after Imani's horoscope sign!

The Kampong, National Tropical Botanical Garden

The Kampong is a remarkable collection of tropical fruit varieties and floral trees. You can find candle, peanut butter, egg fruits, and over 50 species of mango in Kampong Planting Heritage. Scientists from all over the world study these various palm, cycad, and flowering tree species!

If you’re in the mood for a relaxed neighborhood dive bar, Barracuda Taphouse & Grill has your back. This small, dimly lit bar offers a huge menu full of craft beers. The bar menu features mahi-mahi sandwiches, Cuda burgers, chicken wings smothered in spicy BBQ sauce and loaded French fries.
