We're getting married!

Austin & Hannah met in the summer of 2016. Austin mustered up the courage to message Hannah on social media, and it all started from there. Isn't that just how things work nowadays? Coincidentally, they've always kind of known each other, but never really talked. Both their parents attended the same church for some time, and Hannah & Austin's siblings were even friends with each other! What's even more surprising, is that they've lived less than five minutes from each other this entire time! From week one they were completely inseparable. It was kind of one of those, 'when you know, you know' moments. Austin was goofy, and Hannah loves to laugh. In a world of confusion, this was something of clarity. Things just made sense, and it was like their paths didn't cross for a reason until now. The world has a funny way of working sometimes.

On Sunday May 27th, 2018, Austin popped the question! After dating for a year and a half, they decided to take that jump! Everything about that day was perfect. From the way Austin asked, to where it took place & who surrounded them in that moment. For those of you who attend Open Door Church, you know that Austin does the morning announcements every Sunday. Before the announcement had played that day, Austin’s father Mark asked if they would join him on stage to help with something. While the video played, they both watched it from the stage as Hannah waited patiently to see what it was he needed. And to her surprise, at the end of the announcement, Austin dedicated his life to Hannah. On the stage, surrounded by everyone they love the most, he got down on one knee. It was a beautiful moment. And what made it even more beautiful, was that they were surrounded by both their families and their beloved church family. Everyone there that day has watched Austin grow up from the little child he used to be, to the man he is now. And on that exact same stage, they will become husband & wife.
