Let the love (and fun) begin!

Our story began back in high school, where we first met on the tennis courts. After graduation, life took us in different directions, but we stayed in touch over the years. During that time, Austin made a few subtle attempts to ask Haley out—attempts that, true to form, she completely missed! Years later, Austin reached out and asked Haley to help coach with him. At the time, her job kept her from saying yes—but in 2023, she finally took the leap and joined him on the courts. It turned out to be the best decision ever. With a little encouragement (and matchmaking) from some very persuasive players, we eventually shared how we really felt about each other. Despite our busy schedules, we took things slow and spent time truly getting to know each other beyond tennis. And from there… the rest is history.

During a family trip with Austin’s family, Austin planned the perfect sunrise photoshoot—one that Haley thought was just for vacation pictures. Austin had done such a good job throwing her off that she was completely convinced a proposal wasn’t happening. As the photographer posed us for a few shots, Haley was still totally clueless. Then Austin called her name—twice. She turned around with her classic “annoyed Haley” face, only to be met with the biggest surprise of her life. Her jaw dropped as Austin got down on one knee. The answer was, of course, yes. The rest of the week was spent soaking in the joy and celebrating with family—the perfect start to forever.
