Shuttle From The Airport To Parador Resort & Spa
We are providing a shuttle service at 9 am on the 8th and 9th prior to the wedding. Please sign up for airport transportation no later than 1/17, the shuttles will be departing at 9:00am from the Marriott Fairfield near the San Jose airport.

If you don't have a passport or your passport expires before 2/15/2024, please apply/renew ASAP. It can take 4+ months to receive a new passport.
Flight
Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO)
SJO is the closest international airport to Manuel Antonio. If you are coming early or leaving later, there is also the option to fly in/out of Liberia, but it is a much longer drive and you will likely want to rent a car (~4.5 hours up the coast from MA).

La Managua Airport (XQP)
Skip the shuttle and take a 30-minute domestic flight from San Jose (SJO) to Quepos (XQP) for $90. For flight details, please search SANSA Airlines (flysansa.com) and Costa Rica Green Airways (costaricagreenair.com/en/).

We don't recommend renting a car, it's simply not worth it if you are planning to stay in the area in and around Manuel Antonio. Please consider alternate transportation (e.g., a shuttle service). That said, if you plan to rent a car, here are some things to consider. - Do your research. Read some of the travel blogs and other resources online that cover car rentals in Costa Rica. - Watch out for scams. We've had good luck renting from Vamos Rent-A-Car (vamosrentacar.com). - Car rental insurance in Costa Rica is complicated and very different from rental insurance in the States.
