We’re so happy you’re here!

The short version: we met in college. The not-so-short version: Caroline knew of Austin in the fall of 2016, when Alpha Omicron Pi was homecoming partners with Lambda Chi Alpha at UCM. Our first conversation didn't happen until a year later, when we both were homecoming candidates for our respective sorority and fraternity. It took some time, but eventually Caroline came to her senses and agreed to go on a date with Austin in January of 2018. Despite a successful dinner date at Fitters in Warrensburg, a relationship didn’t blossom at that time. Austin spent the rest of the year pursuing Caroline while she was fully enjoying her time as an independent, busy college student. However, as the year progressed, Caroline continued to warm up to the idea of entering into a relationship with Austin. Our second date wasn’t until November of 2018 at a wedding in Austin’s hometown of Washington, MO. By this time our feelings had grown for each other, but there was no official label on our relationship quite yet. The next weekend back at UCM, Austin asked Caroline to be his girlfriend, and she finally said YES! Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way! We’re so happy you’re here.
