Brooke and Austin grew up near Raleigh, North Carolina, sharing the same town long before they shared anything else. No one knows if their paths crossed back then, and their story really begins a whole country away. They both let their lives carry them far from where they started and landed in the same town on the California coast -- Santa Cruz! They met in a climbing gym in Santa Cruz, finally in the same place at the right time. What followed came easy: outdoor adventures, a shared passion for protecting the planet, and the certainty that they were meant for each other. It turns out you can grow up close to the right person and still have to cross the country to find them!
