How do we get to Junction Orchard and Cidery?

Answer

Google maps is your friend. Junction is well listed on all maps apps and it will accurately takes you to the venue. The address is 273 Prospect Lake Rd, Victoria, BC V9E 1J7. The drive way is a sharp left hand turn, and is well indicated.

Where do we park?

Answer

Junction has a large parking area as indicated on the map above. We have the whole back lot dedicated for wedding guests that day. Once you arrive at the orchard you will drive down the gravel pathway to the back lot. We will have signage indicating! Cars can be left onsight overnight. The roads can be dark and windy at night so we encourage guests wishing to drink to please do so responsibly, and coordinate a carshare or order a taxi for the return trip home. Its a short 15-20 min drive from most places in Vic.

What should I wear?

Answer

Britt's wearing a white dress and Austin a summery brown suit! We encourage you to wear something that makes you feel fabulous. Colourful dressy summer attire encouraged. Feel free to toss in a smattering of cowboy couture if the inspiration strikes...it is a barn burner after all! Be advised that the ceremony is on the grass. There will be dancing, so consider change of footwear or wearing comfy shoes!

Am I required to attend all 3 events?

Answer

No obligations on any of this stuff! Its all fun and games until we say "I DO". We thought of what would be a fun way to spent time with you all. Many friends and family are making a trek to come celebrate with us, so we built in the welcome picnic and Sunday brunch for some extended time together. If you've only got time for one event, come to the actually wedding on Saturday!

Dancing? Music? What should we expect?

Answer

We've got some special sonic treats for everyone on Saturday. Without giving away too much, we will say that we have assembled the finest group of fiddle players this side of Nashville to grace us with jigs, reels and good old fashioned country dancing all night. Someone will be calling square dances, so feel free to brush up on your square dance calls and practice your two stepping!

Are children welcome?

Answer

Absolutely! If you've got little ones that are coming and wish to keep the party going later in the night, the venue is close enough to town that you could bop home pre or post dinner to arrange a sitter and head back to close the place down with us!
