Question

What if I miss the January 8th booking deadline?

Answer

Life happens! We get it! You certainly can still book your stay at the resort after the listed deadline! The pricing may be different, as we have secured the lowest rate for our party, however you are still welcome to book outside of our reservation block (at your own risk, as long as there are still rooms available). We do ask that, if you go this route, please formally RSVP and let us know you will be attending so that we can make sure you are included in the celebrations.

Do I have to stay at the Secrets La Romana resort?

Answer

You are certainly not required to stay at our selected resort, though we do have a reserved room block for all our guests and highly encourage you to stay on site. Please note there is an $80 charge per attendee for outside guests attending events on the property (per resort policy). This does not apply to the Dreams La Romana Resort

Do I need travel insurance? How about the airport transfer?

Answer

Both of these offerings are completely optional and based on your individual preference! For reference - we declined the travel insurance, however did choose to proceed with the airport transfer.

Where will the celebrations take place?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors (garden gazebo setting, not beach) at Secrets La Romana. The welcome dinner will take place at the central beach

What is the dress code?

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Invites are tailored to our guests and their listed plus ones. If you wish to bring a guest not listed on the envelope you received with your invitation, please let us know, as this affects our head count. Final guest arrangements ideally will need to be made in January when reservation payments are due.

Are you signed up with a registry service?

Answer

No gifts please! We realize it is a huge ask inviting you to travel so far to spend our special day with us, and consider your presence there a gift enough. We do have a small registry set up (under "Registry" tab) if you do feel inclined to purchase a gift.
